1. Service Agreement

By booking services with ZapMan Services, you agree to these Terms & Conditions. Our services include handyman work, moving assistance, delivery, cleaning, furniture assembly, junk removal, and related services in the Inland Empire region of California.

2. Service Scope

Our services include:

  • Minor repairs, installations, and handyman tasks
  • Moving assistance with professional movers and equipment
  • Local delivery services
  • House cleaning and move-out cleaning
  • Furniture assembly and installation
  • Junk removal and hauling (non-hazardous items only)
  • Pressure washing and grounds maintenance

3. Service Exclusions

We do NOT provide services involving:

  • Major electrical work requiring permits or licensed electricians
  • Gas line work or major plumbing installations
  • HVAC system installation or major repairs
  • Structural modifications or load-bearing changes
  • Hazardous material handling (asbestos, lead paint, chemicals)
  • Unbagged trash, flammable materials, or paint disposal
  • Work requiring specialized licenses we do not hold

4. Booking and Scheduling

  • Service requests can be made online, by phone, or through our booking system
  • Same-day service is subject to availability and may require additional fees
  • We will confirm all appointments and provide estimated arrival times
  • Weather conditions or emergencies may require rescheduling

5. Deposits and Hold Fees

  • Hold fees may be required to secure appointment slots
  • Standard hold fee: $25 | Same-day hold fee: $35
  • Hold fees apply as credit toward the final invoice total when service is completed
  • Hold fees are processed through Stripe and subject to their terms

6. Payment Terms

  • Payment is due upon completion of services unless other arrangements are made
  • We accept cash, check, and online payments through Stripe
  • Additional charges may apply for materials, disposal fees, or extended time
  • Prices quoted are estimates; final charges based on actual work performed

7. Cancellation Policy

  • Cancellations with 24+ hours notice: Full refund of hold fees
  • Cancellations with less than 24 hours notice: Hold fee retained as credit (valid 30 days)
  • No-shows or same-day cancellations: Hold fee forfeited
  • We reserve the right to cancel due to weather, safety, or other circumstances

8. Liability and Insurance

  • We carry general liability insurance for covered services
  • Our liability is limited to the cost of services provided
  • Customer is responsible for securing valuable items before service
  • Pre-existing damage should be disclosed before work begins
  • We are not liable for damage to items not properly disclosed or prepared

9. Customer Responsibilities

  • Provide accurate information about the work required
  • Ensure safe access to work areas
  • Secure pets and valuable items
  • Disclose any known hazards or special conditions
  • Be present or designate an authorized representative during service

10. Dispute Resolution

Any disputes will be resolved through good faith negotiation. If resolution cannot be reached, disputes will be subject to binding arbitration under California law in Riverside County, California.

11. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California. Any legal proceedings will be conducted in Riverside County, California.
